American Hunting Blind “The Chalet” with 8.5’ Tower

The Chalet is a premium elevated hunting blind system designed for durability, comfort, and all-season performance in the field. This unit features a spacious 6.5’ x 6.5’ footprint with a full 7’ interior height, creating a roomy and comfortable environment for extended hunts with excellent visibility and shooting room. Paired with an 8.5-foot tower, it provides a stable, elevated platform that enhances sightlines while helping reduce ground-level scent and disturbance.

Engineered for extreme conditions, The Chalet is built with a roto-molded, architecturally designed dual-walled PVC roof system that is both high-temperature resistant and highly insulating. The airlock barrier helps reduce heat buildup in summer while retaining warmth in colder months, and it also minimizes interior condensation. The roof’s slotted corner design allows for secure strapping during transport, adding practicality to its rugged design.

The walls are constructed from 1.75-inch thick embossed 26-gauge Galvalume metal with a camo-painted exterior and a non-reflective dark gray interior finish to reduce glare. With an insulation rating of R12.5, the structure is built to maintain comfort in both hot and cold conditions while standing up to high precipitation, coastal exposure, and harsh weather environments.

Access is provided through a heavy-duty engineered metal door measuring 30” x 70” with rounded corners and a recessed locking system for security and durability. The blind also features an advanced window system designed for versatility and quiet operation, including three horizontal HIP air-shock assisted windows (12” x 30”) that open to an 85-degree angle to function as rain-shedding awnings, as well as five vertical HIP air-shock assisted windows of the same size that open to 135 degrees, extending beyond the line of sight for clear shooting lanes and optimal target acquisition.

Underfoot, an injection-molded floor system provides a rock-solid foundation using a 3½-inch honeycomb substrate with 3/8-inch decking, engineered to support heavy loads. Multiple molded-in pedestal mounting points allow for flexible seating arrangements and accessory placement such as tables or shooting rests.
